We can share some fantastic news !

Inverness Hospital Radio has received 7 nominations for awards at the Hospital Broadcasting Association Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony at the end of March this year. The HBA is the National Charity that supports and promotes Hospital Broadcasting in the UK with over 170 individual broadcasting stations, all staffed entirely by volunteers.

Our nominations are for Shannon Marvell (Best Female Presenter & Best Newcomer), Alastair Mcloughlin (Best Speech Package), Terry Henderson and Iain Mackintosh (Best Show with Multiple Presenters), Thomas Nelson ( Best Male Presenter), Best Station Promotion Volunteer (Helen MacPherson) and… Inverness Hospital Radio is nominated for Station of the Year.

Irrespective of the final outcomes, it is a major achievement to receive 7 nominations and be in the shortlist for 7 of the 8 categories available !

The winners will be declared at the HBA Conference which is to be held in Bolton on 24-26 March this year.
