As a registered charity, IHR doesn’t receive any statutory funding, so each year our team of volunteers needs the support of the communities we serve to maintain the delivery of our broadcasts which are currently to in-patients at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. In 2021 we are looking to extend our service to wider communities of patients across the Highlands. This will be made possible by moving our service to online broadcasting, enabling patients in Hospitals across the Highland Area to connect to our programmes through a Wi-Fi connection. This requires additional licensing, broadband and computer system maintenance costs and all donations will be supporting our running costs.
