Kevin Mcloughlin

We were shocked and saddened to receive the news today that our fellow member and presenter Kevin Mcloughlin has passed away. 

Kevin was a member of Inverness Hospital Radio for 23 years broadcasting a variety of shows, most recently his Alternative Rock & Blues show recorded from his home studio in Inverness, but also actively promoting the station and just recently attending the AGM to speak and share ideas on how best to advance our service.   

Kevin was well known in Inverness and beyond as a respected businessman and supporter of other charities in the area as well as being a musician and DJ and his loss will be felt by many in the community.   

Speaking personally, I thoroughly enjoyed doing shows with Kev on the former North Highland Radio, being invited to his home studio and listening to his Rock & Blues show which he presented with a passion for the music and personal delivery to the listener.  I would like to express my condolences on behalf of the service to Kevin’s wife Jackie, his family and friends at this time.
